AGM

 

At the 28th AGM on 26th October our Joint Programme Secretaries, Stella Campbell & Nicola Christie stood down after 3 years in office.  They were thanked by the chairman for their innovative and entertaining programmes.  They are replaced by Tricia Curzon-Tompson and Geraldine Dowle.  We wish them every success in their new roles.

 

Duke of Connaught - Garter Banner

The Garter Banner of the Duke of Connaught, 3rd son of Queen Victoria and resident of Bagshot Park, hung for over 50 years in St Anne's Church at Bagshot until it was damaged by fire in 2005.  Fund raising activities and a contribution from Camberley DFAS have enabled the banner to be conserved and framed.  It now looks magnificent hanging on the west wall of St Anne's.
